Awards

Every two years NAFEM recognizes its own, as well as industry partners.  Awards include:

The William W. Carpenter Award

The William W. Carpenter Award is presented during The NAFEM Show. The award is the association’s highest honor, given to a foodservice industry professional who has continually contributed to NAFEM’s success and to the enrichment of the industry for more than 20 years.

Doctorate of Foodservice Award

Doctorate of Foodservice (DFS) award, presented at each NAFEM show to allied hospitality association leaders in recognition of their contributions to the industry.

Louise O’Sullivan Award of Excellence

The Louise O’Sullivan Award of Excellence recognizes a non-elected NAFEM volunteer who has donated their time and expertise for the betterment of the association. O’Sullivan, elected the first female president of the association in 1991, was the recipient of the inaugural award in her name.
