Buyer beware, USTR publishes list of most notorious markets

The United States Trade Representative (USTR) prepares an annual report on trading partners’ protection of intellectual property rights. The report includes a Notorious Markets List, which highlights online markets (like France’s and physical markets (like Mexico City’s El Tepito open-air market) that reportedly engage in and facilitate substantial copyright piracy and trademark counterfeiting.
