2018 edition of The State of Restaurant Sustainability

The National Restaurant Association has released its 2018 edition of The State of Restaurant Sustainability, highlighting the sustainability efforts of restaurant operators, and there’s a lot for NAFEM members to consider! The report summarizes the sustainability practices, opportunities and challenges of more than 500 restaurant owners and operators. Key information includes how efficient equipment is now standard in many restaurants; operators are recycling and focused on packaging; and reducing food waste is an area of concern.
