NAM offers resources to advocate for passage of USMCA

The USMCA Coalition, led by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Business Roundtable, is advocating for congressional approval of the United States – Mexico – Canada Agreement (USMCA). It’s important that businesses communicate their support for the USMCA. To do so, click here to learn more about the Coalition and click here to join, if you haven’t done so already.

NAM also has produced a new USMCA manufacturing one-page overview that underscores the importance of congressional passage of the agreement to help U.S. manufacturers succeed domestically and compete globally to support millions of well-paying jobs. NAFEM members are encouraged to use this document in their advocacy outreach with elected officials and other stakeholders.

To support this advocacy outreach, NAM also has created an email account – namusmca@nam.org – to which NAM members can send intelligence from meetings with members of congress and their staff on the USMCA (e.g., whether they support the agreement and priority issues and concerns) and information on their companies’ operations in congressional districts across the country (not to be shared outside of the NAM without permission).
