In anticipation of Infrastructure Week, May 13 – 20, the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) has updated and re-issued Building to Win, its comprehensive proposal to invest in and modernize America’s infrastructure. According to the proposal, “The modern manufacturing economy we are building does not have the kind of infrastructure we need to support our vision for an exceptional America.”
A coalition including the National Association of Manufacturers, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, AFL-CIO, Brookings Institution, America Society of Civil Engineers and more than 450 affiliate organizations is co-hosting the 7th annual Infrastructure Week May 13 – 20 to spotlight the state of infrastructure in the U.S. The week-long event focuses on the importance of roads, bridges, ports, airports, railways, water and sewer systems, the energy grid and more.
