U.S. clears the way for USMCA implementation

The U.S. became the third country to complete domestic processes to implement the United States – Mexico – Canada Agreement (USMCA). U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Robert Lighthizer notified Congress that the Agreement will enter into force July 1, 2020. Before then, Congress is making a few minor modifications to the legislation to address items in the agreement that were inadvertently omitted from the bill.
