DOE Publishes a Notice of Information Collection Extension and Request for Comment
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has published a Federal Register notice announcing the next step in the process to extend DOE’s information collection and is requesting comment by January 3, 2018.

DOE Issues a Request for Information and Notice of Public Meeting Pertaining to the Process for Developing Energy Conservation Standards
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has issued a pre-publication Federal Register notice initiating a data collection process through a Request for Information (RFI) seeking comments and information to assist in identifying potential modifications to its “Process Rule” for the development of appliance standards. DOE will also hold a public meeting to receive input from interested parties on potential improvements to the “Process Rule”. This meeting will be held January 9, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. in Washington, D.C.

DOE Publishes a Request for Information pertaining to the Energy Conservation Standards Program
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has published a Federal Register notice initiating a data collection process through a Request for Information (RFI) in order to evaluate the potential advantages and disadvantages of additional flexibilities in the U.S Appliance and Equipment Energy Conservation Standards program. DOE requests and will accept comments, data, and information in response to this RFI until February 26, 2018.
