When and how did your business get started?

Headquartered in Crystal Lake, Illinois, our roots go all the way back to 1927. We serve both the hospitality and restaurant industries with high-quality products.

Our organization is the result of a collaborative merger between CSL’s Graychrome-branded foodservice product lines (which provide plastic, wood and metal products), and Tubular Engineering’s hospitality offerings. This combination of businesses offers an excellent assortment of quality products.

What do you love most about the foodservice E&S industry?

We love providing solutions to our customers’ needs, because we realize our clients’ equipment is ultimately a reflection of them. The better quality we can provide for them, the better experience their customers have.

What do you find most challenging about the foodservice E&S industry?

The consolidation of dealers can be challenging at times, as Central Specialties does not sell direct – we sell through our network of dealers.

What excites you about joining NAFEM?

In the foodservice E&S industry – and in our space, especially – connections are everything. We are excited about getting exposure to industry professionals and access to a new, expanded network of dealers and sales representatives.
