California looks for innovations to capture, repurpose emissions

As part of its commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045, California’s Air Resources Board (CARB) held a Dec. 11, 2019, public workshop to discuss ways of capturing, sequestering and using greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to reduce or reverse global warming. The workshop included presentations from companies already capturing carbon at large scale to help attendees understand the benefits and challenges of doing so.
