NAFEM continually provides government relations efforts on behalf of its members
at the local, state and federal level. Currently, we are monitoring the foodservice
industry’s concerns about the new procedures for the certification and verification
of all products bearing the ENERGY STAR label. NAFEM also is coordinating efforts
with representatives at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to
address concerns and communicate on the industry’s behalf.
